Sutton Vintage and Arts Fair

Today I revisited the Sutton Vintage and Arts Fair. I went the fair a few years ago, and haven't been back for a while. However, I recently bumped into an old friend from school, and we decided to catch up over some vintage shopping.

The Sutton Vintage and Arts Fair is the biggest vintage fair in Birmingham, and is held twice annually. It takes place in Sutton Coldfield Town Hall, about 15 minutes from the city center. The fair boasts 80 stalls of vintage fashion and accessories, as well as crafts, cupcakes and entertainment.

The first thing we saw when we walked in were these beautiful full-skirted dresses, courtesy of Vintage by Cupcake, who make bespoke vintage style dresses. I adore the peacock feather print dress.

The stage in the main hall was put to good use, with fashion shows, dancers, musicians and even burlesque performers entertaining the crowds. Here's dance group, Jazz Jive Swing.

I bumped into these two at the fair, and couldn't resist snapping them. Both hats are amazing, and I love her boxy bag and his round framed specs. They've really considered all the details - you can tell they love vintage!

And when all that shopping gets too much, take a seat at The Vintage Salon, and be well and truly pampered with Le Keux Cosmetics. We loved this gorgeous lady's retro style!

We finished our day out with a well deserved treat from Kiss Me Cupcake. I decided on the chocolate mint flavour, which was absolutely delicious!

Thank you to the lovely ladies behind the Sutton Vintage and Arts Fair, including Sabina Gran and Eva Francis. I will most definitely be back for more in the autumn!
