Mum's Coat

With the weather becoming bitter again, I have found myself rethinking my outerwear situation. My mum found this coat in a charity shop about a year ago. It's originally from Next and is pure wool. It's perfect for this weather, and at a size 18, can be thrown over anything.

I've never really been a fan of oversized pieces - I'd rather go for a more fitted silhouette. But I have a real soft spot for this coat. The oversized thing was huge for autumn/winter 2012, and although fashion is swiftly moving towards spring, the weather is certainly not. So, I'm gonna continue to get my Jil Sander on and wrap up nice and warm.
