On our third day in Croatia, thunderstorms were forecast in Split, but they passed in the night so our day in the city was sunny and beautiful. We visited Diocletian's Palace and the Bell Tower of the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, which now stands on the site. We also experienced some traditional Dalmatian singing, performed beautifully in the dome of the palace. And we met a friendly cat.

| Traditional Dalmatian singers performed in the dome at Diocletian's Palace . I had goosebumps like never before. |

| A friendly stray cat that we met in the ruins of the Palace. Split has a lot of stray cats, but they are well looked after by the locals! |
