On Friday morning, three years of hard work at Birmingham City University came to an exciting conclusion. I arrived at Birmingham's Symphony Hall, put on my cap and gown and became a graduate. And yes, that is supermodel Erin O'Connor in the gold gown - she receive an honorary doctorate during our ceremony.
The sense of pride I experienced that day surpassed my expectations. I will admit that my overall grade left me disappointed in myself, but attending my graduation ceremony and sharing my achievements with my friends (and my mum) made me realise how far I've come in three short years.
Congratulations, class of 2015.
