Unless you've been living on another planet for the last few months (sorry...), you'll have heard about the 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who. Sean and I were incredibly excited, as we've been big fans of the show since Chris Eccleston brought it back in 2005. So when we heard that Birmingham's iconic Electric Cinema was screening the show on the night, we couldn't resist.
Of course, 50 years of Doctor Who calls for an effort to be made, so Sean and I scoured the high street to find red bow ties and tweed jackets for our Matt Smith costumes. Fortunately he already had the fez and sonic screwdriver.
We had a fantastic night, and the episode was everything we could have wished for. I laughed and I cried. Here's to the next 50.
