Girls in the Windows

I saw this image on Tumblr earlier today, and I was immediately taken aback by it. 43 women appeared in their finest outfits, and stood in the windows of this apartment block on East 58th Street the day before it was due to be demolished. I love the juxtaposition of the old building, teamed with the bright vibrant fashion of the 60's. There is so much vintage style inspiration in this photo, and I adore the Rolls Royce.
