I have always loved Edith Head's work. As a costume designer for Paramount and Universal, she designed for some of the biggest names of the era and won eight Academy Awards. Her designs were were iconic (including that famous black dress for Breakfast at Tiffany's), but the most remarkable part of her design process is her hand drawn sketches. Edith's signature style and detail are captured in these images, each one easily recognisable as the work of one of the greatest costume designers ever.

Edith's designs really epitomise the glamour and grace of the era, and these sketches really bring her work to life. I hope you find her as influential as I do!
