The Great Gatsby

I'm reading another classic novel that I've been meaning to get to for quite some time now.

The book is really good. It's incredibly well written, and so easy to get lost in. The characters are so relatable, especially the narrating character, Nick Carraway. The book also paints a very vivid picture of life during the Roaring Twenties. It is obvious, then, that I am very excited for the movie, which is due to be released in the Summer of 2013.

The movie stars Leonardo Di Caprio as Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan and Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway. I am most looking forward to seeing the amazing costumes, designed by Catherine Martin.

I love the lavish elegance that has become synonymous with the decade, and I'm sure the movie will not disappoint!
