So this month I received my first paycheck from my new job and immediately decided I needed new shoes. This is actually true right now, as I find myself with only high heels and a couple of pairs of comfy shoes which are rapidly falling to bits. So I sat down in front of what is probably my new favourite shoe site, Public Desire, and got to work. I found three pairs in greatly varying styles, all with relatively low, blocky heels, and all in grey, 'cos grey is the new black.
I love these shoes because I love dressing like a pensioner. These are the most stylist thing you could picture your nana wearing, admit it.

These Stevie boots are a replacement for my current over-the-knee boots which were bought for me by my darling mother a couple of years ago for my birthday. However, those are black, have a VERY uncomfortable stiletto heel, and are too big on the thigh, meaning they often fall down and become slouch boots when I walk. Hot in the 90's. Not anymore. Stevie passes on all 3 counts. Go Stevie.
