On Saturday, mama and I hosted a very special baby shower for my big sister, Lisa, who's expecting her first child. Yep, I'm gonna be an auntie! She's just a month away from her due date, so we thought it was a good time to get the family together and shower her with love, support and advice. We decided on a Beatrix Potter theme, as she liked the books when she was little. We also wanted to hand make a lot of the food ourselves, as me and mum love a good baking sesh! I whipped up some of my cupcakes, and mum made scones. I also tried
this recipe from Refinery 29, and although mine didn't look quite as perfect, they were delicious!

| Mum's hand decorated cake. The figurine is not edible, unfortunately, but all the roses were handmade by mama. |
 |
| Home made bunting. Hours spent sewing and threading onto ribbon, but worth it. |
