Baby Shower

On Saturday, mama and I hosted a very special baby shower for my big sister, Lisa, who's expecting her first child. Yep, I'm gonna be an auntie! She's just a month away from her due date, so we thought it was a good time to get the family together and shower her with love, support and advice. We decided on a Beatrix Potter theme, as she liked the books when she was little. We also wanted to hand make a lot of the food ourselves, as me and mum love a good baking sesh! I whipped up some of my cupcakes, and mum made scones. I also tried this recipe from Refinery 29, and although mine didn't look quite as perfect, they were delicious!

Mum's hand decorated cake. The figurine is not edible, unfortunately, but all the roses were handmade by mama.

Home made bunting. Hours spent sewing and threading onto ribbon, but worth it.
