Making Time

For our last uni module, we had to plan and host a live event with the proceeds going to a charity of our choice. It turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives.

We decided on a sixties themed night at the Actress and Bishop in Birmingham, a renowned live music venue. We had three acts playing - the Tom Walker Trio, Craig Lennon and the UK's number one ska and soul tribute band, Rudie and the Revolvers. For the charity, we decided on Teenage Cancer Trust. The lovely Sareena made this fantastic movie for us to remember the night.

Big thanks to the Trio for getting me up to sing on the night. It was very scary but a lot of fun! And here I am below with the Velvet Events girls. I am so proud of all of us for putting on such a great night and raising money for a fantastic cause.

P.S. My dress is from Apricot
