Remembering L'Wren Scott

I don't think I ever saw a L'Wren Scott collection that I didn't immediately love. Her mix of quirky and classy made her a fashion icon, which is why I found it so heartbreaking to hear of her passing.

L'Wren began her career as a model, walking the catwalk in Paris for Chanel and Thierry Mugler, before turning her hand to styling and designing. She helped to create costumes for movies such as Eyes Wide Shut, Mercy and Diabolique. In 2006 she launched her own label. Her designs have been worn by stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams and Naomi Campbell.

L'Wren will be sorely missed by the fashion industry, but her legacy will live on.
