After a ridiculously early start at 5:30am, we headed out to St Pancras station to catch the Eurostar to Paris.
It was a long and exhausting journey but we finally arrived in Bastille, Paris. We checked into the hotel, and then took a walk around the local area. We saw the July Column, as well as countless beautiful buildings and the cutest little bread store.
We then found a small restaurant for dinner. The waiters were very patient with us, bless them! I ordered a hot dog, which was about two feet long and covered in cheese. It was amazing, but I couldn't finish it! We walked further around Bastille, and then headed back to the hotel for an early night. Paris is a big place, and has a lot to offer, so we wanted to be fresh for the days that lay ahead.
