Miuccia Prada has released these sketches of the costumes for The Great Gatsby, released May 10th. This only heightens my excitement for the film, directed by Baz Luhrman and starring Leonardo Di Caprio as Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan and Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway.
Over 40 looks were created in collaboration with the films costume designer Catherine Martin, each inspired by syles from the Prada and Miu Miu archives. Miuccia's designs really capture the essence of the roaring twenties, and the lavish lifestyle that The Great Gatsby evokes.
