Blue Skies, Red Brick

Guess where I went yesterday. Yep, another day in Birmingham City Centre. The mother had a rare day off work, so we made the most of it. Here's what I wore.

Dress - Label Lab @ House of Fraser
Jacket - Oasis
Scarf - Marks & Spencer
Boots - New Look

And Charlie seemed to approve.

I couldn't get over how beautiful the towers of these building looked together. And the sky is finally blue again!

The Joseph Chamberlain Memorial and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

After a long walk through Birmingham, we arrived at Brindley Place - a beautiful canal-side area with some the best restaurants in the city (as well as the Sea Life Centre). We ate at possibly my favourite restaurant, The Slug and Lettuce. The atmosphere is amazing, prices are more than reasonable, and they offer the best carbonara I've ever tasted. Highly recommended.
