A Military Operation

Last night, some friends and I went to Propaganda (yet again) to celebrate my 19th birthday, which was on Wednesday. I had suggested having a theme for dressing up, and my friend Becky came up with the brilliant idea of military inspired outfits. I must say, I had so much fun building my outfit, and my boyfriend's outfit too, for that matter! My best friends made so much effort, and we all looked really good together!

My dress is Vila at House of Fraser. A lot of my outfit was made or customised by me and my mom, so it is all very unique. I bought a vintage dress pattern for the cap I'm wearing, and my mom sewed it together in about an hour or so. She also made the epaulettes to match, with vintage military buttons.

The boots are the grey H&M ones that I've been living in lately, except I bought a couple of gold studded belts from Warehouse, and wrapped them around to create a completely different look.

I managed to track down a replica OBE on ebay, which really made the whole outfit pop. My clutch is from Accessorize, and is dark grey and black with gold hardware.

Becky, Bobbi, Sean, me and Emma.
