Visual Studies and the Fashion Image

So I finally started my degree in Fashion Retail Management, and a few days ago I got my first brief. The module is Visual Studies and the Fashion Image, and I have to conduct a photoshoot for A/W 2012 in the style of a fashion retailer.

I'm focussing on the gothic trend, and have decided to use Valentino as inspiration. Their A/W couture collection is quite demure, with dark colours and soft flowing silhouettes, whilst RTW used black leather and chiffon to create a dark, yet feminine vibe. And the ad campaign is just beautiful - set in a grand palace in Sicily, featuring classically beautiful women wearing the luxurious pieces.
